Soleen

Meet Soleen!

4 years old 13 lbs Shih Tzu/Poodle mix

Soleen is a tiny, tender-hearted girl with an absolutely adorable underbite and little white goatee that will melt your heart!

She's a shy girl who can be easily startled by sudden movements or loud noises, so she's looking for a quiet, patient home where she can take things at her own pace. Once she feels safe, you'll see her sweet side come out-she loves belly rubs, scratches, cuddling, and staring lovingly into your eyes.

Soleen loves being right beside her person on the couch and even makes sure you're never alone in the bathroom. She gets along well with calm dogs and loves cuddling up with her mellow canine friend. When things get busy around the house, her kennel is her safe little retreat.

She's also a serious treat enthusiast! And when it comes to eating, this little girl turns into a vacuum cleaner!

Soleen is still working on her potty training and will need a family willing to continue helping her learn with patience and consistency.

Most of all, Soleen needs someone who understands that shy girls sometimes need a little extra time to trust. She may take a while to come out of her shell, but for the right person, watching her confidence grow will be incredibly rewarding.

Quiet home. Patient heart. Endless love. That's what Soleen is looking for.

Soleen is also one of our Special Ambassador Dogs, which means her adoption fee is a little higher-for good reason. Her fee helps support other dogs in our rescue who have greater medical expenses or specialized care needs, giving them the same opportunity to find loving homes and happy endings. By adopting Soleen, you're not only changing her life-you're helping other deserving dogs get a second chance, too.

Located in Boerne, TX
Apply to adopt: charmingpetrescue.org/adopt
