Meet Snow
I was returned on February 1, 2013, so stay tuned for my updated bio and pix!
Hi, my name is Snow. The devastating Waldo fire in Colorado had a wider-ranging effect than people might suspect. Several families from that area agreed to adopt my siblings and me from a Mexican shelter in San Carlos, but after losing their homes were clearly unable to follow through. As if that weren’t bad enough, the wonderful American woman who founded the shelter (and has twenty-some rescued animals of her own!) has severe health problems and has had to curtail her own rescue work. So TALGV agreed to step up to the plate and take us in despite the lack of space. Well one look at our sweet faces and everyone agreed that they’d done exactly the right thing! Although I’m of that ubiquitous “mixed heritage,” whatever amalgam I got has produced the sweetest, most docile little tyke around! I’m 8 weeks old now, and am eagerly looking forward to becoming a loyal “legal” citizen of the USA! Friday, July 29 2012 8-week-old white shepherd/heeler mix female.
