Snoopy's Story

Meet Snoopy — The Bestest Boy 🐾

Snoopy is a shy-at-first, all-heart-once-he-warms-up kind of guy, and once he decides he loves you, he really loves you (fair warning: he's a total lover who might just try to give you kisses). He's affectionate, easygoing, and has this wonderful balance of "let's play!" energy and "actually, let's just chill" energy — he'll happily join you on a hike or a run, and he's just as content curling up next to you when playtime's over.

He's a calm, confident presence in his suite at the shelter — completely unbothered even walking past reactive dogs — and he settles easily, whether he's napping solo or hanging out. He's fully potty trained (never had an accident!), crate trained, and an absolute champ during grooming and baths, even though he's a little shy about new experiences at first. Car rides start out nerve-wracking but he relaxes into them quickly.

Snoopy grew up with a pittie and a chihuahua as brothers, so he's dog-savvy and interested in making new friends — he just needs proper introductions to get comfortable. He's been around kids before, and gets along well with both men and women, though like any shy pup, he needs a little time to trust someone new (it doesn't take long — he's an easy guy to love).

A few honest notes for his future family: Snoopy can be food resource-guarding, so he'll do best in a home that understands how to manage mealtime and treats thoughtfully. He also pulls on the leash when he's excited about new sights and smells, so a bit of leash training will go a long way. He knows "sit," and he has the sweetest quirk — he sucks on his blanket for comfort instead of chewing anything he shouldn't.

Snoopy is looking for someone patient enough to earn his trust and affectionate enough to match his love right back. Once he's yours, he's all yours.

He is up to date on vaccines, neutered and ready to find his forever family

*Current on Vaccines & Preventatives

*Neutered

*Dog & Kid Friendly (cats unknown)

*Adoption fee $250

APPLY TODAY!!! https://peaceloveandpawsrescue.com/adopt%2Ffoster-application
