Hello, my name is Sky, and I'm excited to share a bit about myself as I hope to find my forever home soon. I'm a beautiful 4-year-old Sheltie/Aussie mix with striking blue merle fur, one blue eye, and one brown eye. I weigh about 38 pounds and have some wonderful qualities that I’d love to share with you. I’m fully housebroken and know several commands like “sit” and “go to your crate.” I walk wonderfully on a leash and absolutely love car rides—I can even load and unload myself! I’m very treat-driven, which means training will be a fun adventure for us. Once I get to know you, I turn into a true velcro dog and cuddle bug. I sleep soundly in my crate all night without any accidents, but I also love curling up in bed with you. I’m up to date on all my shots and will be spayed soon. However, I am heartworm positive and currently on medical hold until I complete my treatment. After that, I’ll be ready to join my forever family. It’s important to note that I have had some negative experiences with older teenagers in the past, which has made me a bit scared around them. I also have a history that suggests I may have been abused and tied up, which has left me fearful of certain situations. Because of this, I would thrive best in a home without children and teens.
