She knows her basic commands, is eager to please, and loves learning new things. She’s got the Husky looks without all the Husky sass! <br/><br/>If you love the outdoors, Sitka is your girl! Whether it’s hiking trails, exploring new places, or simply playing in the backyard, she’s happiest when she’s outside enjoying life.<br/><br/>Sitka also does well with other dogs when given proper introductions.<br/><br/>One thing to know about Sitka: During a week long getaway out of the shelter with a family, we learned that she struggles with some separation anxiety when left home alone. She’s going to need a family willing to give her patience, reassurance, and time to adjust to her new routine. Someone who is home often, can help her gradually build confidence being alone, or has another dog who may help ease her anxiety and keep her company would be ideal.<br/><br/>Sitka has so much love to give and wants nothing more than to be someone’s loyal companion.
