Meet Sissy: We think she is about 9 years old and estimate her to be a Schnauzer/Terrier Mix, she was horribly matted when found and had to be shaved as she was quite uncomfortable. 

Sissy weighs 23 lbs. She is very smart and adapts very quickly. She prefers a female human. She is sassy and sometimes bossy. She isn't that interested in toys but loves long walks. She will alert you if someone is outside by barking but that is the only time she will bark. She loves to cuddle up in your lap and take a nap. She prefers being the only dog but is currently being fostered with a large dog and has adjusted well. Does fine with kids. She eats well and is fully potty trained. Knows some commands sit, stay, come. She is a lil timid at first but is a real sweetheart when she gets to know you. Medium energy level, so leisurely walks are best.
 
She can be left alone. No crate needed, however, he would love to be with her human all the time. A quiet home would best suit her, as a lot of other dogs or kids would stress her out.
