Meet Simon, a 4 month old small red and white corgi with short legs, a long body, and a playful, intelligent personality. He is expected to stay on the smaller side when fully grown maybe 18-25lbs range or so is the guess. He is currently just 14lbs.<br/><br/>Simon was found after being left outside in a crate for several days. Neighbors attempted to make contact, but no one answered, and animal control was ultimately contacted. Scout’s Street Smart Rescue was able to safely bring him into care, and after completing his stray hold with no owner coming forward, he became available for adoption.<br/><br/>Shortly after rescue, Simon tested positive for parvo. He received treatment and has since made a full recovery and is medically cleared.<br/><br/>Simon is now healthy, vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He is a friendly and social puppy who does well with other dogs, cats, and children. He would fit into a variety of home environments, but potential adopters should be familiar with the needs of corgi type dogs. They are known for being smart, active, and in need of both mental and physical stimulation.<br/><br/>Simon is looking for a home that will provide structure, engagement, and continued guidance as he grows.
