MY AGE: approx. 2-3 yrs WEIGHT: approx. 10 lbs. WHERE I AM FROM: AL (arrival 3/24)
MY STORY: Shilo is doing great in a home where, due to dogsitting, there may be as many as fourteen little dogs at a time. She is tiny at around 10 #s, but loves to play and wrestle with the others. And she has learned to play with toys, and enjoys "safe" chews. Although she is> still a bit scared of being picked up, she really is very affectionate. She dashes up the steps to the bed where she settles on the pillow right next to my head. Sometimes, I am aware she is resting her chin on my forehead! She is potty trained to use piddle pads, but does sometimes go outside. She will need periodic grooming. She does have tear staining by her eyes which is very common in light colored dogs, and is difficult to aleviate. It in no way effects her sweet and loving personality. She gets excited about mealtimes and barks a bit. She loves to sit and observe what her person is doing. What a cutie she is!
Shilo is a puppy mill survivor. She is a shy dog. She will need a quiet household with people that will give her the time she needs to adjust. A companion pup would be great for her. We just groomed her and she did great. She is very tiny and petite.

ADOPTION FEE: $450 includes a $50 training deposit that will be refunded once confirmation of obedience classes is received.

Our dogs are located in foster homes throughout the state. We do not have a facility. Adopters must be 24 years old.We can not adopt to families with children under the age of six. We also adopt in WI, IL, and parts of MN. Most of our dogs are strays, so the breed is our best guess.
