Sherman's Story

Sherman is a handsome 2-year-old tricolor Pembroke Welsh Corgi with a big personality packed into a short, sturdy frame. This smart little guy is the total package—affectionate, playful, and loyal to his people. He absolutely loves being around humans and will happily follow you from room to room before settling down right at your feet, his favorite spot in the house.

Sherman is energetic and enjoys a good game of fetch, along with his daily mile-long walks where he keeps a brisk pace and shows off his excellent leash manners. He’s very intelligent and eager to engage, making him a fun companion for someone who enjoys both playtime and routine. Sherman is active, with working dog energy, and is looking for a home with a fenced yard.

He does well with cats, children, and small to medium-sized dogs. Sherman did have a frightening encounter with a large dog in the past, so he can be a bit guarded around bigger dogs at first. With patience and slow introductions, he has the potential to build confidence and feel more comfortable over time.

Sherman is a neutered male who has been loved and well cared for. He is being rehomed due to his owner’s health, and this decision has not been made lightly. He deserves a home where he will be cherished as a true companion and included as part of the family.

If you’re looking for a devoted, fun-loving buddy who will keep you active but also happily relax by your side, Sherman just might be your perfect match.
