I’m a puggle who knows the struggle!


Hi! Let me introduce myself. They call me Shelly here and I am approximately 3 years old. I’m the new girl in town at the Animal Resource Center where I live now. I’ve been through quite a lot these past couple of weeks.

I seem to have gotten lost from my home, and was picked up as a stray by a kind stranger who took me in from this bitter winter cold. They tried really hard to help me find my home, but no one came forward to claim me... so now here I am in hopes someone new will welcome me into their heart and home.

I have a lot of love to offer. I can be a bit bashful at first, but once I come out of my shell I’m a real sweet and gentle girl. I know how to sit and give my paw, and I enjoy going on walks. I am a most marvelous walking companion as I am a lady on a leash and I do not pull.

I look forward to meeting my new person soon - maybe my new person is you?
