Shaggy

Meet Shaggy - A gentle soul with the biggest heart!

Shaggy came to us with Paloma and Scooby after their owner in San José sadly passed away. With no one left to care for them, kind neighbors did what they could — but these three suddenly found themselves without the home they once knew.

He is a sweet, playful boy who is understandably cautious right now. Losing your person and ending up in a shelter would shake any dog, but Shaggy is trying his best to trust again. He has a thick coat and needs a cooler environment.

Shaggy deserves a calm, loving home to help him heal from such a big loss. He is ready for someone who will show him he is safe again.

See more: adogsnewlife.org/shaggy

Adoption Fee: $540 USD/ $600 CAD

Our rescue is located near Bucerias Mexico. We use Petfinder to reach a greater audience for our dogs and adopt the majority of our dogs to the US and Canada.

Because airlines adjust pet flights during heat embargoes for September and October, the dog’s arrival date may vary slightly to keep them safe.
