Meet Shade

Shade is a one yo neutered male mixed breed. Microchipped, vaccinated and on heartworm preventative. He is blind but LOVES his people!! He needs to be an only dog as he is terrified of other animals. He can be taken outside but never left out alone. He was returned severely obese after being adopted from us. He should weigh close to 10 lbs and was 17.2 lbs. We have him down to 13.8 lbs with a little more to go for him to be a healthy weight. He uses a washable pee pad very well. Shade would be a great apartment dog! This is our Pistol’s brother. He does have night terrors so he needs to sleep on a dog bed on the floor for his safety. Adoption fee is $150. Adoptable within 3 hours of Granbury, Tex. Applications at www.scftx.org/adopt
