Sequoia's Story
This wonderful momma finally has an empty nest and is now ready to start being her own dog! Sequoia has spent the last 9 months of her life taking care of and protecting her 3 babies, after they all came to CGHS now each baby has their own home and Sequoia is hoping someone has the time and room for her to finally learn to be a young dog! This confident girl is not afraid to lay down the law, she definitely like to make her own rules with other animals but couldn't be sweeter with humans!

Sequoia lived in house with children before coming to CGHS and seems to have no problem with humans of any size or age! She does seem to be very defensive when it comes to other animals, we think that after 9 months of worrying for his kids she does have some trust issues when it comes to other dogs. Sometimes she seems to do okay when it comes to dogs that are similar look/size to her babies (bigger than her) but small dogs she has not had any successful meet and greets with.

Don't let Sequoia's small stature fool you either, she is an incredibly active dog who does run, jump, and takes full advantage of our larger yard when it comes to activities. She is a suspected mix of two very active herding breeds and will need the stimuli and training any other large size dog would get. Once she learns to live life to the fullest and gets the TLC she deserves, she is going to be an amazing family adventure dog!

Age: 2 years
Weight: 30lbs
Adoption fee: $400

Fill out an application at: https://www.columbiagorgehs.org/adopt.html

(All animals adopted out of CGHS are spayed/neutered, up to date on annual vaccines including rabies, and microchipped)
