MEET SECRET! - I will be at the Dedham shelter on Saturday 5/30 and Saturday 5/31 from 1-3PM, come say hi! *Looking for a dog friend!* Secret is a gentle soul who came to us from a home with several other dogs. Because of her past, she has limited experience interacting with people and exploring new places, and for this reason she is shy and reserved. She is looking for a low-traffic home, outside the city where she can spend her days relaxing on comfy beds and enjoying the sunshine. Her adopters will need to accept her for who she is, a couch potato who would prefer to stay home, other than perhaps a stroll around the block in a low-traffic area. Her claims to fame are her impeccable potty training skills and her content to be home alone during the day. She would benefit from living with another calm and social dog companion to show her the lay of the land, since she is used to life surrounded by other canine companions. If you are looking for a sweet homebody who enjoys lounging and stopping to sniff the flowers, Secret may be your lady! My friends describe me as: Reserved, Quiet, Shy Secret is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY however, we are unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.
