Scruff's Story

Hello everyone! I'm a handsome, friendly 3-year-old, 54 lb Rottweiler/Cattle Dog mix named Scruff. My journey began as a stray puppy in Von Ormy, Texas, where locals fed me before a foster took me in and cared for me.

Fast forward, and I'm now living in Columbia, Connecticut, with an awesome foster who also happens to be a professional dog trainer! I am his newest student, and I must say, I am an "A" student at that. I am learning a lot of new, cool stuff and perfecting my dog manners, like walking calmly on a leash, sitting, staying, going to my place, recalling, and playing respectfully with other doggies. My trainer Dad says I'm a total sweetheart, well-behaved, housebroken, and very deserving of a family of my own.

I am an extremely friendly boy, always wagging and smiling, amazing with people and amazing with kids. If you pet me, I will love you forever and want more! I have a great personality and a happy demeanor, not overactive, not boring, and not lazy, just the perfect amount of energy for playtime, running, family activities, and social gatherings. I get excited about playtime, and I need my people to tell me when it's time to chill out, and it’s Netflix time. My trainer-foster Dad can teach you exactly how to do it if you are an A-student as well; we will have no problems! I am always ready for any fun adventures, but more than anything, I love my people, listen well, and aim to please. Inquire about me today and come meet me at my trainer-Dad's home in Columbia, CT!
Adoption Fee: $400

LOOKING FOR AN APPLICATION?
