Scout Plott Hound & Cattle Dog Mix East Derry, NH

Scout is such a gentle guy! Scout is a 3yr old plotthound-cattledog mix, weighing 68lbs. This poor boy was literally abandoned by his prior owner but didn't go far - he stayed in the wooded area near his old owner's apartment complex for months, hoping his person would let him back in. When that didn't happen, heartbroken Scout was brought to a city shelter where it was discovered that he was positive for heartworms. Scout has been treated for heartworms and is officially heartworm negative now! Scout is doing well with other dogs, snuggling up to his humans, and relaxing on soft dog beds. Scout is an easy-going guy and just likes to hang out and be around his people. He will make an excellent laid-back companion!

All dogs adopted from GDHS are spayed or neutered, have vaccinations brought up to date, are on heartworm preventative, and microchipped.
