Meet Scooter! Scooter is an outgoing and energetic puppy. Scooter is playful and active. He likes to run around the backyard as fast as his little legs will take him. Scooter has a great little personality and is very easy going. He is being fostered with other dogs and loves to play with them. He's been around cats and is indifferent to them. When he finally gets tired, Scooter takes a nap in the nearest dog bed. <br/><br/>Scooter is all puppy. He will steal your shoes and chew the shoelaces, steal your slippers and try to destroy them. He will grab any napkin, tissue, paper he can find and shred it. Any human or dog toy he thinks is his and will go into his mouth, including your fingers. You can try picking up his toys, but he will spread them around the entire house and yard. In short, your once neat and tidy home may never be the same. <br/><br/>Scooter is not potty trained and is challenging his experienced foster mom. The family adopting Scooter needs to know they may have a challenge getting him potty trained and must be up for the task. He also will need leash lessons to learn about walks. Scooter does sleep in his crate at night. <br/><br/>Scooter is about 7lbs at 5 months old. He will do best in a home without very young children. He is very mouthy. He would LOVE to have a doggie playmate. He is too active to be a purse or lap dog, even though he is small. Scooter has been neutered and is up-to-date on his shots. <br/><br/>We believe Scooter will be around 11 lbs when full grown. He is a Yorkie Terrier, Shih Tzu, Maltese mix, but he has the wiry, greasy coat of a Yorkie. He is likely not a hypoallergenic dog. Breed and size are our best guesses, no guarantees! <br/><br/>If interested in adopting Scooter, please submit an adoption application. We will arrange meet and greets with approved applications. Please note, a meet and greet does not mean you will be selected to adopt Scooter. We will select the application/home we feel is best for Scooter.Our adoptions are restricted to residents within 30 miles of the South Bay area of Los Angeles.
