Meet Scooby!
Scooby is a lab mix who we believe to be about 5-6 years old. He weighs approx. 45 pounds and loves to love! Scooby came to us from life on a chain and was attacked by several strays over food. He is slowly learning that he will always be fed, but because of this he is still quite protective of his food. He has a very mellow personality, but loves to play whenever you are ready to! Scooby loves to take naps on the couch and chew on his bones. He does well with both large and small dogs in his foster home and ignores the cats he lives with. He has also done well with children in his previous foster home. This guy is making amazing progress with house training and leash training. He is also friendly with new people. He is an explorer and will head for the door any chance he gets, so he will need to be watched with open front doors. He is also being treated for heartworms and TRP will cover the costs of this treatment. When he is done he will be a happy, healthy pup! Scooby will be neutered when his heartworm treatment is complete. He would do best in a home with a fenced back yard as well. Scooby is a big bundle of love and can't wait to meet you!

Scooby's adoption fee is $200 and includes age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, microchip, deworm, heartworm testing.
