Meet Scarlett
Scarlett is believed to be around two years old and weighs around 65 pounds. She is possibly a rottie/hound mix, but who knows!? We do know that she is sweet, loving, and playful! Scarlett but believe she would thrive a home with another playful canine sibling, preferably a dominate one, and an active family. Scarlett loves to play with her toys and enjoys running outside every morning with a case of the zoomies! If you are looking for your next hiking buddy and cuddler for couch time, Scarlett may be your gal! Scarlett could still use a little work on her manners but she is smart and we believe she will learn quickly with the right teacher! Scarlett dreams of a fenced in yard where she can run! She has small prey drive so she can not be trusted off leash.
Some volunteers recently took Miss Scarlett for a 6 mile hike. They reported that she was the best hiking partner! She walked well on the leash and was friendly with everyone that she got to meet. Scarlett even made an appearance at the local ice cream shop where she happily rewarded herself after her hike!
UPDATE: Scarlett recently went to a foster home. Her dad, though working from home right now, believes that Scarlett may have a bit of separation anxiety when left alone. He believes she would thrive in a busy home with many folks, lots of attention, and very little time alone.
