We are looking for a home where she can be the only dog. She has issues with guarding food from other dogs and after working with her don't think this is an issue that is improving. For this reason would like to see her in a home where this won't be a concern.

Meet Sasha!
Meet our 23 pound, 18 week old Siberian husky foster Sasha. She loves to snuggle, loves to play with toys, walks great on a leash, loves to do zoomies, knows Sit, Come, Leave it, Lets go potty, Lets go outside, as well as having potty training 99% understood. She is loose in our house overnight (no accidents) and has not shown typical husky traits of being destructive or chewing. Keep her exercised and busy during the daytime & she’ll sleep in your bed wonderfully at night.

*She needs to be a SOLO dog in a home. Even if there are Siberian siblings, she needs to be an only dog. More than willing to chat with anyone in detail as to why this is.
*No cats in the home.
*She hates the crate with a passion. Probably crated way too much before being surrendered, so adopter needs to work from home or be retired to limit crate time.
*She needs a 6’ fence. She can scale 4’ with ease.

We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs.

All our dogs have been treated with dewormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption.

We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts.
