Hi, I’m Sasha! I’m a 2-year-old, 45-pound Bulldog/Boston Terrier mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart! I was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Texas and I’m now being fostered in Monroe, Michigan. I’ve been waiting patiently for my forever family and I’m hoping someone will finally give me a chance because my foster family says I’m one of the sweetest girls you’ll ever meet!<br/><br/>I absolutely LOVE people, other dogs and kids! My foster brother Cupid is my best buddy and we have the best time playing together. I’m even wonderful with toddlers and happily accept kisses right on my snout! I love belly rubs, walks, treats, splashing around in the kiddie pool and snuggling up with my people. I’m fully housebroken, walk nicely on a leash and I’m very food motivated, which makes training a breeze. I’m a fun, affectionate girl who knows how to enjoy playtime and settle down for some cuddles afterward. Videos of me in action are available upon request!<br/><br/>I’m fully vetted, spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. Our Adoption Process Our goal is to make the adoption process as smooth as possible while making sure each animal is matched with the right home 1. Submit an Application Complete our adoption application using the link at the bottom of each animal’s bio. Our team will review your application and if approved, someone from the rescue will reach out. PLEASE DO NOT FILL OUT AN INQUIRY ON PETFINDER 2. Home Video Once approved, we will ask you to submit a video walkthrough of your home and yard in lieu of an in-person home visit 3. Animals Already in Foster If the animal is currently in a foster home, the foster parent will contact you to answer questions, tell you more about the animal and arrange a meet and greet. Please bring a leash to the meet and greet. If everything goes well and you feel it is the right match, you may complete the adoption and take your new family member home that day 4. Direct Adoptions From Transport Some of our animals travel to Michigan specifically for direct adoption rather than going into a foster home. Because these animals are coming on transport specifically to meet their approved adopter, a direct adoption must be a firm commitment. Please ask any questions and make sure you are comfortable moving forward before committing to a transport animal 5. Finalizing the Adoption To complete the adoption, you will sign our adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. Once complete, your new family member is officially yours and can head home with you
