SANDY's Story

SANDY - ADOPTABLE ✨
Name: Sandy
Age: 4 years old
Sex: Female
Breed: Cairn Terrier Mix
Weight: 33 lbs (Medium)
Meet Sandy 🩷
This floofy little muppet is full of personality, charm, and happiness. Sandy does the cutest little pitter-patter hops when she gets excited — especially when she sees someone coming over to give her pets. And her helicopter tail? Absolutely impossible not to smile at.
Sandy is a total people dog and loves affection, cuddles, and being close to her humans. As a low-shedding terrier mix, she strongly believes the couch belongs to her too! Though when told to get down, she’ll give you her big soulful eyes before reluctantly listening.
She’s adjusting beautifully to home life and sleeps through the night peacefully in her own crate. Sandy goes potty outside, but is still learning how to clearly signal when she needs to go. She will also benefit from continued work on leash walking and socialization as she builds confidence and routine.
Sandy enjoys playing with other dogs and would likely love a playful canine buddy. We are unsure how she is with cats at this time. Like many terrier mixes, she will need regular grooming and consistent exercise to keep her happy and healthy.
This sweet girl is basically powered by cuddles, treats, playtime, and love. Her joyful spirit shines through in everything she does, and she cannot wait to find a forever family to call her own.
