Please understand we must conduct home visits in order for any dogs to be adopted. This is merely for the safety of these rescues. All dogs are $125.00
and up. Adoption fees in correlation with care & expenses required to make each animal healthy and ready for adoption. Some dogs require fenced in yards, please feel free to ask any of our volunteers if the animal you're interested in requires a fenced in yard.

Sammy, or Sam for short, is a 2 year old Blue Heeler mix. She is up to date on shots, spayed, heartworm negative and on heartworm/flea prevention. Sam is house trained, crate trained, and knows her basic commands. She is a very sweet, cuddly dog who is very loyal to her people, but she can be a little shy at first. Sam would do best as an only dog (especially the only female dog). Sam would love to find her furever home!



The Junior Humane Society is a non-profit, all volunteer, animal rescue group. For over 30 years, we have helped animals in the Gulf Coast area.
All animals waiting for adoption are placed in foster homes. Before placing the animal in a furever home, JHS provides all necessary vet care, including but not limited to: shots, spaying, and neutering.
