Rusty's Story
**WE DO NOT RESPOND TO APPLICATIONS MADE ON PETFINDER. YOU MUST APPLY ON OUR LINK WHICH IS BELOW**

Meet Rusty! Rusty is an adorable Schnorkie-type mix born on 1/24/26 and weights just 7 pounds. This sweet little girl is full of personality, love, and puppy energy!

Rusty gets along beautifully with her foster dog siblings and even her cat friends. She has a petite frame, so a home with older, dog-savvy children would be a great fit.

Like any young puppy, Rusty is still learning the ropes. Her potty training is coming along nicely, and she's doing very well with crate training. She is playful and currently teething, so she'll need plenty of appropriate chew toys and supervision to help her make good choices.

Rusty loves to run, play, and explore. Because of her active nature, apartment living is not the right fit for her. She needs a securely fenced yard where she can safely burn off energy. Her new family should know that Rusty is quite the little climber - she can climb out of a pen and may attempt to climb a fence if given the opportunity. It's important that she is closely supervised, especially during the adjustment period.

Rusty is up to date on vaccines, microchipped and dewormed. The spay/neuter procedure will be covered by the rescue at 6 months of age when completed through one of our approved veterinary clinics. If you're looking for a fun-loving puppy who will keep you smiling and shower you with affection, Rusty may be the perfect match!

Apply here: https://tinyurl.com/4u3tuy5c
-Due to the high volume of applications, our Adoption Coordinator will only contact the applicant that best meets the needs of the pet.
