Rudy's Story

Howdy y'all! Rudy Tooty Fresh and Fruity here, reporting for cuddle duty and backyard zoomies!

Rudy may be fun-sized, but his personality is anything but small. When you first meet him, he might tiptoe into your heart a little shy and unsure. Give him a little time, though, and you'll watch him bloom into the sweetest, silliest, most lovable sidekick you could ask for.

Rudy is a social butterfly in the making and absolutely thrives with other dogs. In fact, he's looking for a home with at least one confident pup buddy to show him the ropes. His Australian Shepherd foster sister has been his ultimate partner-in-crime for playtime in the yard, and once the zoomies are out of his system, he's more than happy to join his chihuahua foster brothers for a cozy couch cuddle session. He's proven to be patient, gentle, and a great little friend to dogs of all personalities.

A fenced yard would be a dream come true for Rudy, giving him space to play, explore, and build confidence. His toy of choice? Anything with a squeaker... though fair warning, squeakers tend to have a very short lifespan in his care.

Rudy is currently working on his potty training and does great when kept on a routine. He's also learned to use potty pads for backup situations. While he hasn't spent time in a crate yet, his foster family believes he's smart and eager enough to pick that up quickly.

At the end of the day, Rudy is a gentle soul with a playful spark, just waiting for the right home to help him shine. If you're ready for a loyal little companion (and maybe a few squeaker casualties along the way), Rudy is ready to ride off into the sunset with you.
