Meet Ruby
Ruby is a sweet senior girl who arrived at the shelter when her owner became sick and could no longer care for her. It is a difficult adjustment for this lovely lady who doesn't understand why her world is in upheaval.
She is still active and loves a lively walk but is also content to wander around a fenced in yard. Her owner indicated she enjoys car rides and is comfortable with children and slow introductions to other dogs.
Ruby loves to be with people and would thrive in a home with a human presence throughout the day. She willingly presents a paw for a treat and sits and stays when cued to do so. Ruby is too precious a girl to spend her days in the shelter.
