Meet ROXIE!<br/><br/>***Roxie is being fostered in Edgewater, MD now and is ready for a meet and greet with any potential adopter!***<br/><br/>She is ~20 lbs and estimated to 4.5 months old as of mid-May. We think she’s a Golden Retriever/Spaniel mix simply based on looks!<br/><br/>Roxie is an incredibly sweet and happy puppy! She is what you would expect from a puppy – playful, cuddly, curious, and active!<br/><br/>She is currently being fostered with young children and is great with them. She loves to cuddle with them and also cuddle with the adults in the house. She loves a soft couch! <br/><br/>She is being fostered with her canine sibling, Sophie, and they love to play together! They can often be seen romping around the yard together, rolling in the grass, and playing with toys together. While they are not bonded, they are two peas in a pod! (Anybody that wishes to adopt both of them will get a slight discount, by the way, as we know they get along wonderfully with one another!). They are also being fostered with several other dogs (some quite large!) in the house and do very well with them too.<br/><br/>Between the siblings, Roxie is a little more outgoing and brave. She seems more “bossy” and bosses her sister around who takes cues from her. For example, when the two are playing, she’ll instigate an interaction with the toy or will be the one who will try to grab it out of her sister’s mouth to encourage her to play! She'd make a good playmate for another dog!<br/><br/>We know she’d be good with cats as well given her age. It's a great time to do introductions!<br/><br/>She is crate trained! She sleeps through the night in her crate (no crying) and will go in there when left alone without an issue. She doesn’t have any separation anxiety that we have observed. <br/><br/>She and is doing well with house training! She is not perfect just yet, which is expected, but is well on her way! <br/><br/>She is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations.<br/><br/>Please feel free to email us with any questions about her!
