Roxanne #6 Black Labrador Retriever Mix Killingworth, CT

This beautiful girl is Roxanne #6, or Roxy as she is known to her friends. Roxy is a gorgeous approximately 2 year old, female black Lab weighing 55 lbs. She has a wonderful temperament and super sweet personality and extremely social. Roxy is very calm and loves to relax with her family and will roll over at any opportunity for belly rubs. She is great with all other dogs and would do well in a home with a canine companion. She also absolutely loves children and would love a home with kids that would play with her and love on her. Roxy was also previously fostered with cats and did not bother them so she would be fine in a home with felines. She is completely housebroken and crate trained but does not enjoy being in her crate. She rides very well in the car and loads up easily and then just relaxes and falls asleep. She walks well on the leash and knows some basic commands. Roxy loves her people and is a real Velcro girl. She has medium energy- loves her toys and walks but settles down and is happy to just be with her family. Roxy is pretty much the perfect dog but she does suffer from separation anxiety so would need a home where someone is home most of the day and has the patience to work with her to overcome her fear.
