Rosie's Story

Rosie is a 2-year-old Great Dane mix, and she is a wonderful dog. She gets along well with other dogs but has been allowed to chase cats in the past. At first, she can be timid, but once she trusts you, she becomes incredibly loving.

Rosie recently weaned her puppies two weeks ago and was spayed this week, so she is now ready to find her forever home. She would do best with older children due to her lack of experience, but she is going to be a fantastic companion for hiking, car rides, walks, and cuddling. Rosie certainly loves her time with our shelter trainer and dog walk volunteers out on trails or just trying to sit on their laps.

Rosie is expected to weigh around 60 to 70 lbs when fully grown. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and negative for heartworm. Please call 802-892-5300 for more information or fill out the online application at www.riversideanimalrescue.org
