Rosie's Story

Hi, I’m Rosie! I’m a 6-month-old Hound mix with a zest for life and a heart full of love. I’m a happy, playful girl who enjoys exploring the outdoors and making new friends everywhere I go!
Rosie is the absolute sweetest girl! She loves to cuddle and give kisses. She is very kid- and dog-friendly, crate trained, and knows her name. We’ve been working on basic commands like sit, come, and down, and she’s making great progress!
She has learned a lot from watching our dogs and is VERY food motivated.
The world outside of the shelter is still new and sometimes a little scary to her, but with support and encouragement she has made a ton of progress!
Her confidence grows a little more every day, allowing her goofy personality to come out more and more. She is going to make the best family dog!
