Rosie D12338's Story

Meet Rosie! This six-year-old Chihuahua/Dachshund mix may be little, but she has plenty of personality packed into her petite frame. She still has a little pep when the mood strikes, but most of the time Rosie is perfectly happy lounging in a sunny spot, napping beside her favorite people, or curling up in a warm lap. Every now and then, she'll break out the zoomies just to keep things interesting!

Rosie gets along well with cats and enjoys the company of other dogs, although she can be a little nervous when meeting new canine friends. Once she feels comfortable, she loves a good game of chase. She also does well with kids.

Rosie is not shy about sharing her opinions! Visitors at the door, squirrels outside, barking dogs, or being left without her people can all inspire an announcement. Because she has a voice she likes to use, a home without shared walls would probably be the best fit for her.

She is crate trained and settles nicely after a brief protest. Rosie is still working on her potty and leash skills, so she'll need a patient family willing to help her continue learning. In return, she offers plenty of companionship, affection, and adorable little-dog charm.

Rosie isn't looking for a life of nonstop adventure. She'd much rather have a cozy lap, a sunny window, and people who think she deserves to be thoroughly spoiled. If that sounds like your kind of lifestyle, Rosie may be your perfect little queen.
