Please understand we must conduct home visits in order for any dogs to be adopted. This is merely for the safety of these rescues. All dogs are $125.00
and up. Adoption fees in correlation with care & expenses required to make each animal healthy and ready for adoption. Some dogs require fenced in yards, please feel free to ask any of our volunteers if the animal you're interested in requires a fenced in yard.

This is Rose.  She is a 42 lb, 8 month old foxhound mix who is a lover! She loves everybody!  She loves dogs and kids, but we're unsure of how she acts around cats. She loves to play with other dogs, and she loves to snuggle with her human. She’s very gentle and sweet. Rose has been spayed, she is up to date on shots, on heartworm prevention, potty trained, and microchipped.



The Junior Humane Society is a non-profit, all volunteer, animal rescue group. For over 30 years, we have helped animals in the Gulf Coast area.
All animals waiting for adoption are placed in foster homes. Before placing the animal in a furever home, JHS provides all necessary vet care, including but not limited to: shots, spaying, and neutering.
We hold adoptions event every Saturday at PetSmart in Pensacola, FL from 12-4
