Roo Bear's Story

Meet Roo Bear! Roo Bear is a super sweet girl who loves her people hard. She came to us with her son (Sweet Pea) when their family fell on hard times and now she is ready to find her forever family. She is about 2 years old.

She can be a bit shy on first meeting people when in the home but out in public she loves to meet anyone that will give her love (and a treat). She loves everyone she meets including kids, adults and other dogs and even wants to be friends with the cat in her foster home (Common Ground Adoptable Misty). She does great on walks or just chilling in the back yard. Her current foster family is home a lot and she enjoys that but does eventually settle if left alone.

You can complete an application from our website (https://commonground-crn.org/adopt-a-life/). Please note we require adopters to live within a 30 minute radius of Antioch, Des Plaines or Elgin, IL.

Please not she is not yet spayed but will be prior to adoption.
