Meet our sweet Roo! Roo gets her name because she hops around like a kangaroo when she’s excited. And what is there to NOT be excited about? As one of a staggering 14 puppies delivered in a single litter who landed in a kill shelter, Roo is a brilliant 18 week-old Aussie mix who is very ready to live her life! If she sees water, she’s going in it. Pool, puddle, oversized water dish- doesn’t matter. As long as it’s water, Roo is IN. She also happens to be quite the expert bug-smuggler/hunter. Cicadas are a personal favorite! In her foster home, she interacts meaningfully with the other pups and does well with assertive cats, but might give the more skittish ones an occasional chase. She can be a resource guarder so we recommend a home with older kids and will need to make sure other dogs will be a good match for her. Roo’s a foodie, but a bit of a health nut, too, choosing treats like ice cubes and carrots over the conventional munchies. Roo has been fully housebroken for over a month and a half now.
