Meet Rocky! This lovable young hound/Mastiff mix weighs in at 72 pounds and is ready to find his forever family. Rocky may be a little shy and skittish when you first meet him, but once he feels comfortable, his sweet personality shines through. He is a total love bug who enjoys being around his people and taking in the world at his own pace.<br/><br/>Rockys story started in North Carolina. Last February, he and his sister were surrendered to a rural shelter after being found wandering in the Uwharrie Forest. As they grew into big dogs, their family realized they could no longer handle them. Thankfully, Rockys sister has since found her forever home, and Rocky was lucky enough to make the freedom ride to New Jersey. Now, its finally his turn to start his next chapter.<br/><br/>Rocky is a stunning, solid young dog with a smooth tan coat, adorable dark muzzle, and floppy ears. His soulful brown eyes will instantly melt your heart, and he sits so politely for photos! He is smart, observant, and eager to please, making him a wonderful companion for someone willing to continue building his confidence and working with him through training. Rocky gets along with other dogs and would love a patient family who will give him the time and love he needs to truly blossom.<br/><br/>Rocky is up to date on his vaccinations, microchipped, and has been neutered. This gentle giant has so much love to give and is just waiting for someone to see what a special boy he is.
