Meet Rocco

Rocco is a 9 year old male Akita mix. He walks well on leash & is potty trained. He knows sit, lay down, roll over, & shake. He also knows to sit & wait for his food bowl. Rocco gets very protective of his area & will lunge & bark & even bite at you if he feels threatened. He also lunges and barks at vehicles. He needs an owner who can be a strong leader. He would do best in a rural home with with no other animals or children & a fenced yard attached. He needs his space. Homeward Bownd will reimburse Rocco's adopters, up to his adoption fee, for trainer costs.When Rocco finds his forever home, he will be a great addition.
