Meet River
River is a male labradoodle puppy about 6-7 months old and 22 pounds. He came to us with a group of doodles from an owner who had to give them up and wanted to see them go to good homes. He has a female littermate named Tango who looks very similar and will soon be ready for adoption as well. River’s coat is a unique parti-color of dark chocolate brown and cream. As you can see from his photos, his appearance and overall look are somewhere between devastatingly handsome and adorable. He has a constant expression on his face that seems to say “I’m up for anything.”
River is all puppy with a temperament to match. He is friendly, energetic and playful. He loves people and gets along well with other dogs. Volunteers who have worked with him report that he’s curious, intelligent and that he quickly learned leash walking and the basic commands. What’s not to like about this great dog?
