MY STORY
My life didn't start out all that great. My mom Beth, was pregnant when she came into the shelter. Since she was so skinny, no one knew and a few days later she had her puppies. She gave birth to six puppies, but the shelter is no place for newborns. There are all sorts of things we can catch and unfortunately that is what happened. We lost two of my siblings in the shelter. Shortly after coming into rescue my other two siblings passed away. They had caught a nasty upper respiratory infection and could not fight it off :( My brother and I were started on meds, but I was really weak. My foster parents were really worried about me, but I am a fighter and I pulled through! I am now one healthy and playful pup, and I am excited to find my furever family!

ABOUT ME
My name is Rip, and I am part of the Yellowstone Litter. I am about 6 weeks old right now, and we are not sure of my breed. My mom seems to be a Husky/Labrador Retriever maybe with some Pyrenees mixed in? We have no idea who my dad was, my mama always just says he was a traveling salesman when I ask. While we may not know my breed, we do know that I am one of the cutest and sweetest boys around! Here is what my foster says about me
"Rip is our little explorer. He has hiding places among my tall plants that are his favorite. When I call "puppies" he doesn't always come running if what he is investigating is more interesting. He is a snuggler and calmer of the two but make no mistake, Rip is allll puppy! Tug of war is his current favorite game. He has beautiful marking and the sweetest face!"

I am good with other dogs and kids. I have not been around any cats, but figure I would do well with them with proper introduction. I am working on my potty training. When my foster is gone, she has a separate room with lots of toys that she lets us stay. I would prefer another dog in my new home to show me the ropes, but is is not must as long as my owner is home most of the day.

My adoption fee is $275 and that will include two sets of puppy shots and wormings, bordatella, micro-chip, and neuter. I will also be current on my heart-worm and flea/tick prevention.

I am being fostered in Broken Arrow, OK. My new family is responsible for pickup as this rescue does not send us on transports or ship us.
