Meet Rio
Rio needs a home !
Rio went to the vet on Thursday. He is suffering from pyoderma - a skin infection and major allergies.
All of these things are treatable and were simply neglected by his family. If at any point they had contacted us we would have assisted with medical care and diet to help get him well.
He is currently getting daily baths , meds and lots of love.
He is one of the most well tempered dogs we have in the rescue. He has been a complete gentleman. He is good with kids and other dogs.
We are doing our best for Rio but He is a senior that gave 11 years to his family and is confused, depressed, lonely and in pain. We are desperately looking for a dedicated immediate foster or adopter to help him get well. He is in too much pain to stay in a kennel. He deserves to be in the comfort of a loving home. Medical cost and food are covered by the rescue if you foster.
Please help us help Rio and give him the dignity he deserves in his golden years.
