Meet Rico

Hi, my name is Rico! I am approximately 2 years old. I came here all the way from a crowded shelter in Modesto, CA where I originally landed as a stray.

I am a sweet, playful boy - though I can be a little shy at first. I was kenneled with other doggies in the Modesto shelter and was fine with them. Staff is still getting to know me and they aren't sure how I'd be with cats. Since I can be a shy boy, I am seeking a home with no children under 10.

I have been heartworm tested (negative), am up to date on my heartworm preventative medication, have had my rabies, DAPP and bordatella vaccines, and am micro-chipped too!

My adoption fee is $200 (+ $20 county dog license, if residing within Jefferson County). Staff takes applications for all the dogs here to find us homes that suit our individual needs.
