Remy

Meet Remy, an approx 1.5 year old Terrier mix (it's giving Brussels/Border something, something...), who will steal your heart with her gentle and sensitive nature. Remy is great with dogs, cats unknown (but suspect absolutely fine) and she has been around kids in her life without issue.

Remy was found as a stray with her sibling when she was a tiny puppy in Mexico January 2025. Unfortunately, her brother did not survive, but Remy grew strong and found her way in rescue for awhile among kind fosters. After not being able to garner her much attention and adoptions down south, her rescue community worked to connect her with us at Hope2K9. In our program, we fully train our adoptable dogs before placement, and this means we can help build confidence in dogs like Remy, as well as resolve all of the normal puppy or adolescent behaviors that often keep great dogs from being adopted from the shelter system. We often have a waitlist of folks eager to adopt a trained dog!

We began Remy's training program as of June 2026, so she will be with our team in Spokane, Washington for the next 6+ weeks to learn all of her obedience foundation, e collar reinforced off leash recall, and much more. If you're interested in Remy, you can follow along on our social media stories, or complete an application to discuss whether or not you might be the right fit for each other. We schedule meet and greets once we have an application, and we require you to thoroughly review our adoption process before considering a dog from us.

Our adoption fees are an investment that come with not only a trained dog, but also training for you and lifetime support from a professional in case any issues come up. There's nothing better in dog rescue than to hit the ground running, speaking the same language as your new best friend, and feeling completely confident in the match and long term plan.
