Reggie's Story
Meet Reggie! Life has not been kind to this sweet boy. He was found at a gas station completely emaciated along with significant hair loss. He had previously been neutered and microchipped but no owner ever stepped forward for him.

Thankfully his hair loss was not mange, the vet thought malnutrition or fleas were at fault. Reggie has since put on a good amount of weight (he is food motivated beyond anything else), but sadly all of his hair on his back end hasn’t returned, it seems the skin is too damaged. He wears sweaters when it’s too cold outside and in the summer he has to wear sunblock.

Reggie really likes going on walks, hiking, and if there’s not too many dogs going to the dog park. He gets along with the other dogs in the house, even sleeping on the same dog beds occasionally. He is still being fed separately as he’s still a bit food aggressive. He likes to “rufferee” when the other dogs are rough housing. He is tolerant of cats.

Reggie would do well in a home that has a lot of love and attention to give him with maybe one other dog. He’s up to date on shots and his heartworm test. He’s a medium activity level. He likes being outside but not so much on his own . If you have any more questions about Reggie please call or text his foster mom, Chelsea, at 614-795-8623.
