After living in a home, the shelter environment is quite a change for her, and it’s clear that she misses being around people and having a family of her own.<br/><br/>Rayne is such a friendly girl who absolutely craves attention. She has the sweetest way of asking for it—wagging her tail while gazing up at you with those soulful, slightly sad eyes that Pekingese are famous for. It doesn’t take long before you find yourself giving her the affection she’s hoping for.<br/><br/>She clearly enjoys human companionship and seems very accustomed to being near her people. Rayne is a loving little dog who just wants someone to notice her and spend time with her. She can be a bit nervous when it comes to putting on a harness, which may be something new for her, but she more than makes up for it with the affection she gives once she feels comfortable.<br/><br/>Rayne is ready to trade shelter life for a cozy home once again. This sweet senior girl would love a family who will give her the attention she misses so much and let her spend her days right where she wants to be—close to her people.<br/><br/>FOSTER UPDATE: Rayne is doing amazing. She was the first foster dog that jumped right in my car and made herself at home. You can tell she was cared for. She is potty trained, great with all people, kids and dogs. She is a great walker and gives the sweetest, softest kisses.
