Meet Raisin - Small, Sweet, and So Grateful to Be Safe <br/><br/>Little Raisin was found running disoriented through the Arroyo del Indio in Bucerias. A kind woman brought him to safety and searched for his owners, but no one ever came. Thankfully, he is now with us and finally getting the care he has needed for far too long.<br/><br/>Raisin Highlights: <br/>Sweet, calm, and loves to snuggle close<br/>Heartworm negative after completing treatment<br/>Cloudy left eye improving with daily drops<br/>Special needs: a few compressed vertebrae make his walk a bit stiff<br/><br/>Despite his challenges, Raisin is happy, affectionate, and clearly grateful to be safe. Approved adopters are matched with flight companions (flight angels) traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home.<br/><br/>Summer Months: It can be challenging to secure Canadian flight angels during the Summer months, so dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border if a Canadian flight angel is unavailable.<br/><br/>We have successfully completed many adoptions over the summer with volunteers helping to bring dogs to their adopters at the border.
