Meet Raggedy Anna! <br/><br/>Raggedy Anna’s story started with a plea for help from a fellow rescuer in the Bronx. A local backyard breeder had two young dogs he no longer wanted, and thankfully, someone stepped in before their neglect could go on any longer.<br/><br/>When they arrived, both dogs were covered in painful mats and had never received proper veterinary care. Thankfully, they are both still young, so we’re hopeful that the neglect they experienced will be just a short chapter in their lives.<br/><br/>Raggedy Anna is a 9-month-old Giant Schnauzer puppy who is as sweet as she is adorable. Her ears were cropped, but unfortunately, they weren’t properly cared for, so they have healed as floppy cropped ears. We think she’s absolutely adorable just the way she is! <br/><br/>Anna is going to be a big girl, and she is already proving to be a happy, social puppy. She loves heading out with the other dogs at the rescue and is always ready to be part of the fun.<br/><br/>Because of her breed, age, and size, we are requiring Giant Schnauzer experience for her adopter who will be dedicated to her socialization. <br/><br/>At this time, we will only be considering applicants with direct Giant Schnauzer experience.<br/><br/>After everything she’s been through in her short life, Raggedy Anna is ready for the part of her story she deserves most — a loving family, a safe home, and a forever. <br/><br/>If you have Giant Schnauzer experience and think Anna could be your girl, we’d love to hear from you! <br/><br/>Apply today on our website luckydogrefuge.com
