Pumpkin's Story

Hi, I’m Pumpkin—the sweetest little gem of a girl you’ll ever meet.

I was found as a stray very underweight and malnourished, and my tail has been broken more than once, but you’d never guess it from my spirit. I’m an enthusiastic, happy young pup who wakes up ready to love the world.

I adore people and other dogs, and I’ll happily “talk” to you if I think I’m being ignored (I have opinions, and they’re usually about affection). I may be on the smaller side, but I’m muscular and sturdy, and once I’m fully healthy I’ll likely be around 45 pounds.

On walks, I’m strong on leash and still learning my manners—so I’ll do best with someone who’s ready to keep up with training and help me shine. At home, I’m a total goofball: I live with a male bulldog right now and we love to play, launching ourselves from couch to ottoman and back and leaving a little mayhem in our wake.

Doggy roommate note: Because I’m a young female and not yet fully mature, I won’t be placed with other young female dogs. Male dogs are great, and female dogs 8+ are okay.

If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate, people-loving companion with bulldog charm and a big personality, I am ready to meet you—don’t wait, I'm a popular girl!
