The minute her foster sits down on the porch, she's right there climbing into their lap! She adores affection and just wants to be close to her people. She's settled into a busy household without batting an eye, taking everything in stride like the little queen she is. <br/>Principessa gets along wonderfully with cats and other dogs, and she loves playing chase with her canine friends. She also enjoys toys and a good game of fetch, but she's not overly energetic. She's happy to play, then settle down and soak up all the love you have to offer. She's crate trained, does well in the car, and is generally a quiet, gentle companion.<br/>She hasn't been exposed to children yet, but given her personality, she may do well with them. Proper introductions and supervision would help set everyone up for success.<br/>Principessa currently sees her kennel as her safe space, giving her somewhere comfortable to retreat when she needs a little downtime. They arrive in Minnesota on 10/24/2026 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 8:30 - 11:30am. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. RSR will cover the full cost of treatment. RSR will provide heartworm preventatives until the retest is due. The adopter will be responsible for scheduling the retest and obtaining any follow-up prescriptions through their veterinarian.
