Prince Cockapoo Mesquite, TX

Hello,

My Name is Prince. They say I’m 9 years old but I think I’m 9 years young, if that! I’m a very happy sweet boy that loves everyone I meet. I get along great with other dogs and do not have a mean bone in my body. I need a little help learning how to play but my foster mom is helping with that. I’ve learned toys are fun and I’m not supposed to jump on my foster brother, but my foster sister loves playing with me so I’m happy! She’s a little bossy at times but I don’t mind.

I’m not a fan of the pool. I watch my foster siblings play all day in the pool but I don’t understand why. Mom says I’m a terrible swimmer and need a life vest, what’s that? Maybe one day I’ll join them, after all my foster sister used to hate the pool too and now I can’t get her out! I’m pretty chill otherwise and I’m happy to just be near you. I tend to follow you around the house like your shadow but I sleep on my dog bed just fine. I’m pretty clumsy getting on the sofa so I don’t even try, and I’m pretty quiet too. I don’t get why my foster sister barks, it’s so loud! I try to look at her to see why she’s barking but I don’t get it. My favorite things are food, food, and food. I do get a little excited when mom takes too long making my food. She says that’s the most excited I get, what can I say? It just smells so good!

What else about me? Oh, Mom says I’m a bit of a handful in the skin department but that I’m worth it. She’s working on getting me all fixed up for my new home.
I’ve had so many baths! I just lovingly stare up at mom when she’s cutting my hair and cleaning me up because I just appreciate all the help she’s giving me. She says my name suites me. What’s my name? Oh right, Prince! I do better with hand signals. But back to my skin. Mom says I will always need weekly baths, regular grooming and very high quality food to keep my skin in check. I get itchy, mom calls it yeast but whatever it is she said I can’t have carbs. What are those? I’m fine with that though because that means more food for me, right?

Won’t you please take me home and love on me as much as my foster mom? Please and thank you, Prince?
