At just 18 months old and 37 pounds, Potter is a handsome Foxhound with a heart every bit as big as his floppy ears. If happiness had four legs, it would look a lot like Potter!<br/><br/>This fun-loving boy is always ready for his next adventure. (That's why my granddaughter calls him "Harry Potter") Toss him a ball, a toy, or even a stick, and he'll happily chase it with all the enthusiasm in the world. And when playtime is over? You'll probably find him cooling off with a joyful splash in the doggie pool, one of his favorite summertime activities!<br/><br/>Potter has never met a stranger. His friendly, easygoing personality makes him a favorite with everyone he meets. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and even horses, making him an excellent addition to just about any family.<br/><br/>Whether you're looking for a hiking buddy, a playmate for your current pets, or simply a loyal best friend to share life's adventures, Potter is ready to fill your home with laughter, love, and endless tail wags.<br/><br/>Potter has so much love to give. Our goal is to match each of our rescue dogs with a safe, loving, and permanent home. To ensure the best fit for both the dog and the adopter, we require a completed adoption application, three personal references (including your current veterinarian), and a home visit, either virtual or in person. If you do not have any pets, then the request for a vet reference does not apply. As a 100% volunteer-run organization, we put our hearts into every adoption.
