Porky is a sweet boy who was surrendered by his owners due to a dispute with their landlord vs. city laws about the number of dogs they could have. He was clearly loved but didn't have much training. He is partially housetrained and using a dog door. He's just over a year old. His breed is Shorkie (Shih Tzu and Yorkie) although there certainly could be something else in there as he is very long legged. He currently weighs just under 11 pounds. He is just as endearing. Passive, gentle, sweet and funny. Loves everyone he meets. He came in with a brother from another litter and his mom. So if you might want two dogs, his brother Donnie would be a great choice! <br/><br/>Porky is a coated dog (hair grows continuously) and will require professional grooming every 6-8 weeks. <br/><br/>Adoption Fee: $400 <br/><br/>This fee includes at least one health exam with our veterinarian while in our care, spay/neuter, all vaccinations (including rabies, as age-appropriate), a pre-adoption professional grooming, and a microchip with lifetime registration at no additional cost. Dogs also leave with a new collar and/or harness, leash, and a gift bag that includes, among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble currently fed at the rescue. Adoption fees also help us rescue the next homeless or unwanted dog in need.
